From the syndicated Dolenz Jones Boyce & Hart Special comes what may be the most embarrassing Monkee Moment yet! Iggy Dolenz (or is it Mikky Pop?) preens and prances his way through Stepping Stone in a manner that makes Marc Bolan look positively butch! (NOTE: Compare this clip with any of the Ig's Live At Manchester 1977 clips and you'll be left wondering WHO influenced WHO!)

Also: As you'll notice, I neglected to point out that before Micky hits the sequins, DJB&H present for your enjoyment a barbershop quartet version of Harry Nilsson's "Cuddly Toy".

@razorsedge555 Yeah -- Nilsson wrote "Cuddly Toy" of course. I didn't intend to leave that whole extra song at the beginning, but once it was there, I couldn't chop it off! (While we're at it, I should add that "Stepping Stone" was written by Tommy Boyce & Bobby Hart, seen with Micky & Davy here on "Cuddly Toy"! Harry doesn't appear in this special, but try to find a copy of the movie "Skidoo!" for some heavy Nilsson action. It makes a GREAT double feature with the Monkees' "HEAD"!) -- 1b2s

Micky did the same bit with DJB&H in tow on Don Kirshner's Rock Concert. He wore a purple feathery face mask and was shirtless. Even funnier/more embarrassing than this nightmare!
