well i own 2008 ranger 3.0 auto, the shifting is sometime jolt a bit, maybe because i push the acc pedal softly, i agree about the traction, i rarely use the 4x4 even in muddy road or wet tall grass, while my old taft GT have to engage the 4x4 in the tall wet grass..i love the old look btw, more no nonsense truck, style go out the window when you are in the field. in the end i love its awesome power and torque, in the road it can acc fast, in the mud in can destroy the track hehe
