2005 Chevy Colorado a/c blows hot all the time. A quick check shows the compressor is ok so the problem must be elsewhere. Here's where to check on this truck
Thanks for this. This is exactly what happened today to my 2010 colorado. I found that gear through the glove box and saw exactly what you have in your video. I was worried that it was going to be a chore to get this fixed. I could take it to a dealer and file a warranty on it but given the simplicity of the fix, I will try this myself.
I'm having a similar problem.. 06 Chevy silverado, every time I turn my ac on everything works fine but after a while my passenger side starts blowing hot air. Then I turn the truck off and start it back up and then everything is fine.. so if anyone have any tips on how to fix my problem let me know plz! Thanks.
what if the big whose becomes hot after it has been cold ? my A/c would work for half a day then it start blowing hot air until the car cools down for hour or two .
This was excellent, just canceled my appointment.

@lidarman2 Followup. I fixed mine but as said in the video, it was hard to snap the gear back on the pin. Really hard in fact.

Some low down mechanic would have lied and sold the owner a new compressor plus labor. God bless all honest mechanics. I like your vids.
