Free Music Lessons for Kids? Opportunity Music Project

Opportunity Music Project provides the opportunity for young students to experience music, who otherwise would not have been able to afford lessons or instruments. Jessica Garand, a student at Juilliard School founded and developed the program OpportunityMusicProject.org to help students who were previously unable to afford music lessons, learn to play musical instruments. Jessica's vision needed a cornerstone component: Quality Musical Instruments. Jessica, in New York City, researched where she could find reliable instruments for rent online, and came across rentMYinstrument.com. The online instrument rental company loved her vision and decided to provide the instruments at no cost to effort to support the program.
