The MTA:SA Beta Test on 10. July 2009 has been really funny.

Here you see a custom race track by Johline which he ripped of Mario Kart 64 and brought it into Grand Theft Auto San Andreas using MTA's scripting functions.

The cool thing: You can include nearly any file in a resource, and when the resource is started it will automatically be downloaded by everyone. No need for sharing any links so anyone mods the game himself :)

The music resource I wrote for Johnline has also been started, and so everyone could hear the cool retro melody, bringing some memories back :D

Good thing: I also won that race!

Please note that by now the sync has improved even more, this old version used some hacky way to achieve "ghostmode" disabling the collisions of all the other vehicles COMPLETELY. now theres a much better way to do it, as you can make 2 cars not collide with each other but with everything else, like objects in this case (the old way caused vehicles of other players to appear in the floor or walls)

  • @DarkDragonGER you know how to make check points in MTA editor? i need realy help with dat

  • @Mathiazfr press the 'definitions' button on the top of the screen and add 'race' to the list, when done hover your mouse over the element menu on the bottom and turn your mousewheel, you should now be able to select from the race specific elements (spawnpoints, checkpoints, race pickups)

  • how the fuck you maked this 0_o

  • @stiekelbaarg It's the power of Multi Theft Auto! This amazing multiplayer mod lets you use hundreds of amazing scripting functions, which make stuff like this possible! You can play sounds, import almost almost any 3D model and create any map you can imagine. There's tons more of amazing scripting functions which let you make grand theft auto the game you want, no matter how you want it.

  • @DarkDragonGER I wouldn't class this as GTA San Andreas anymore.

  • @Fuckoffstarlet that just proves what i said. see how far away from the original you can actually go, if you want to.
