Continued...Rocket, was in that situation also when he didn't have good players around him in ther early yrs. So the comperission between those two are similar, just that the matter with Mats was longer.

You're starting to judge players by seeing how many rings on their finger. We know Mats worked and I mean worked to try to win the cup, but you can't say that in the playoffs that he was a boy rather than a man. Look at the ot goals against St. Louis and Ottawa for example, look at how he assisted on ot winners against the hawks, look at how he outplayed Jagr in that famous series against Pittsburgh.
All those and more define Mats as a man.

@103Uke Yes you are right he did in the Canada Cup. I was strictly refering to playoff overtime. Sundin was great in the regular season in overtime but that is a whole different animal. The postseason is where you earned your money and the men were separated from the boys
