Do you know anyone who prays to eggs who sincerely claims to have had prayers answered? Likely not. Do you know anyone who has prayed to God who sincerely claims to have had prayers answered? Probably so. Hang around many Christians and you may find many.
You completely missed the point explicitly stated in the video. Prayers are answered no more than they are answered by eggs. By including "maybe/wait" as an answer to a prayer, you create a tautology where necessarily every prayer is answered regardless of what happens, including absolutely nothing happening.
I didn't miss your point, your point is just wrong. What about prayers where they are answered, but in a way where you can tell they were answered. Or where they are answered no, but you are given a really good glimpse of why they were answered "no".
The point is: every prayer is answered. Period. It is impossible for a prayer not to be answered, so your question "what about prayers where they are answered" is pointless to ask. Anyone can rationalize an explanation for the answer to a prayer. But given that every single prayer is answered makes the explanation meaningless. An explanation is not needed, because we already know that every prayer is answered.
To make this even more clear, watch the video again. Consider this: I pray to an egg that I will find $5 tomorrow. Tomorrow, I find $5. Therefore, I know my prayer was answered by the egg. I can explain this because even though I didn't tell the egg, I was broke and needed food to eat. I guess the egg realized this and decided to help me by answering my prayer. You would disagree. But how can you?
