The story that the movie is based on occured in Dixon and Sterling, IL. One scene of the movie was shot outside of Dixon on July 4th, 4:20 a couple months after Reagan died. There was no one around because they were all at a parade that started at his boyhood home.

If there's enough interest in Dixon, I'd screen it there.

Ronald Freakin Reagan was born in Tampico IL, not Dixon IL. Just thought I'd help out with the facts a little.

If you were from Illinois, you would be aware that Dixon IL has a sign on the highway saying that it is the hometown of RR. Sterling IL has a sign saying the birthplace of RR (or vice-versa I'd have to look at my notes). Tampico IL has NO sign stating anything one way or another. In the movie I created mockups of the signs AS THEY ACTUALLY EXIST. You are correct however that RR was born in Tampico IL.

haha. Where can you find the movie? I am from D town, this looks like some funny stuff.

Dixon is the boyhood home of RR. lol. We used to have to go to the RR house for a school field trip.

I sort of miss seeing the dick with wings and the inmates planting petunias down the road. Oh and elvis, wonder if he is still on the streets.

I chose Dixon because Schwag: The Movie is based on a true story. The events stated as happening there, happened there.
