A simple family man (Jason Statham) is forced to take up arms after an evil sorcerer (Ray Liotta) unleashes an army of bloodthirsty beasts that destroy his small village and capture his beautiful wife (Claire Forlani). As the marauding forces overrun the land in an effort to overthrow the king (Burt Reynolds) and his loyal magus (John Rhys-Davies), the once peace-loving peasant and his two companions (Ron Perlman and Will Sanderson) venture into perilous, uncharted terrain on a daring rescue mission. In this breathtaking fantasy adventure, director Uwe Boll conjures up a medieval world filled with royal treachery, dark magic and spectacular battles, all set against some of the most awe-inspiring vistas ever captured on film. In theaters Jan 11th! http://www.inthenameoftheking.com/

You can really tell Reynolds phoned it in when he, as the "king", doesn't even deliver his own pep talk.
I think Boll movies are just a litmus test to finding out which actors, who we think have remaining star power, are really just whoring out their names for a paycheck, and actors who have a little more self respect.
Burt Reynolds as a medieval king, and Ray Liotta as an evil Sorcerer with his Jersey accent. Boy does this movie sound BAD...... Jason Stratham karate chopping monsters may work, but in another film, with another budget and director. This movie induces vomitting.....
he' s playing a moor-google the black moors and the song of roland-it is the oldest written record of moors written in the 10th cent. by the catholic church all recent writings have been caucasionized!
