it wasnt all that long ago, i used to race hard plates. i still ride them. best ride on the mountain!!

@KasperKarver I find a close stance with the feet at a steep angle makes it easy to tuck the back knee and really let the board do most of the work. I ride a doneck 175 very narrow great board.

awesome man!! what brand is the board an what are the lenght and width of it?
-
bend more under same pressure: yes
"sharper": dont know ..i think its easier to spread the preasure uniformly over the edge which is very important in your sloping position, but as you wrote, the price is less control. i gave up snowboarding some years ago (after about 15yrs of riding) ..getting old *lol* ..i have also very tall feet, thats critical when you want to extreme. ...greetings. take care

Wow! 1995? You must be one of the original snowboard riders that made the sport popular in today's standard. Great riding!! I love your body positioning and movements. I'm gonna save your video and watch it everyday to improve my riding, thanks for such a great video.

i still ride with my feet as close together as possible, makes for very unstable riding but IMHO it allows the board to bend more and turn sharper. cheers!
