I honestly turned it off after i heard "diRait, diRait-on"
nasty nasty R! in french it should not be the hard american R but much lighter and softer. it detracts so much from the peice. also i agree. also bimmerboy87 is right about the french.

Some nice moments of real beauty in this rendition however the out right disgusting French can't be overlooked. Im from the small country of New Zealand and I have often sung this song with various choirs and it is always stressed that the language must be up held and respected. We even had a Professor from Colgate University, Dr James Niblock, come and teach us the correct French pronunciations. Also the balance of female to male voice was uneven but that is a common problem also.

I think this is absolutely beautiful!!! I sang this song in a choir not long ago :)
You guys have done an amazing job I LOVE IT! best one i've heard on youtube yet!

basses were overpowered by the females on the sections where the basses followed the women.
than that, it was well done.

well;; despite what everyone else is saying, i thought ya'll sounded pretttyyyy great. my choir sang this last year and we had a lot of trouble with the pronounciation but these piece is beautiful and i think this group did very well. there were a few stretched vowels but that's always going to happen in every choir. beautiful job as a whole. :)

Ick...too much of an "eee" sound....there needs to be more of an open and round "eh"....Justkiss is correct...the R is being slammed on too hard
-
beautiful mixing, no overpowering section, pronunciation could use work but nobodys perfect. beautifully done i must say i performed this myself and it is a wonderful piece. very nice very nice.

when they have the melody, the basses also have the melody and the altos and tenors are under them. Altos can also be stronger in that section when they have the melody. Nice job on the poco a poco accelerando e crescendo, though.
choir as a whole needs to work on rounding out the vowels to sound more mature. choir sounds like a bunch of 5th graders. French pronunciation is incorrect. "tendresse" "caresse" and "theme" all need pronuncation of the "e" at the end. supposed to sound like "tendressuh" etc.

Thanks for the tips on the French, but in all honesty the "5th graders" line was highly unnecessary.
I love how so many people can not just give constructive criticism on a group's hard work without attempting to boost their own ego with insults.
Good day to you, sir.
