how do u take the sound off when you press a button with out puttin the whole phone on silent?

i bought a eirpece for the phone tht plugs in tht micro usb jck on the samsung smiley and it workED! then i cutted the wire and spliced a stereo headfone jack to tht lead wire and now i can use any peir of headphones wiff my smilley hahahahahhahahahah

@juggalotusx3 Both are nice...so it depends on the form factor you enjoy most. Slide up, or to the side. Whatever one you are used to or think you might be able to live with.
