This is part 2 of my video on how I installed my Grit handle bars. They are the 14 inch Grits from Nash Motorcycle Company. I listed the parts I used in part 1.

  • Where did you get the headlight bracket at?

  • @dpayne3333 I got both of them from J&P cycles. I do not use the tall one anymore. I think the short one looks better. I think I paid $30 for the short one.

  • I like those bars! You bike came out really nice! Good instruction on the video. I am very nervous about tinkering with my bike, but you make it looks fun and pretty easy. Great instructions!

I like your highway pegs. Do they bolt on where the forward controls would be?

  • @shandapimp Thanks for the kind words. I was pretty nervous wrenching on my bike at first as well. The highyway pegs do bolt where the forward controls would be. I got the highway pegs off of e-bay and had them powdercoated. The foot pegs are from joker machine. I talk about all the mods on my bike in one of my other videos, check it out if you have time. Good luck with your mods on your ride!

  • Cool, their bars are the shit!

  • @TheCirca1969 I pretty much like everything Nash makes. Their bikes are so sweet!

  • That's why I always cut wire in the middle and just extend them. No need to jank up the factory connectors. Also, next time cut and splice in staggered spots so you don't get that snake swallowing a rat look in the harness.

  • @MikeChambers1001 Sounds like a sweet ride! Post a vid when you are finished I would love to check it out. Homemade is where the fun is. I made a sissy bar for my bike as well, my welds look like crap but it is all part of the learning experence. Good luck with the apes.

  • Very Good info ! ! You sorta inspired me to do my apehanger project on my metric ! I've got a chop that I put together a couple years ago and I've been debating on taking the windshield off and "ape-ing" it up ........I'll have a ton of work cut out and unlike harley parts .....mine are harder to get .....hince most of my stuff is homeade .....seat.....chaps....even my sissybar....I'm posting my clip of the chop ....Mike
