Benny Andersson with his pet-project of love, or as the Americans say, his vanity-project: "Bird-calls of Sweden".
Ludvig Andersson, (son of Benny) named after Beethoven, (of course) is involved by naming the birds. To spare you an hour of bird-calls, I have only included two. Swedens most popular bird, the Storlom, and the Kanadagås (Canada Goose). The Storloms mournfull plaintive cry is beloved by all of Sweden (and Benny). Benny used the storlom at least twice on projects he was involved in, both sampled here. Hep Stars "Sound of Eve", and Karl "Kalle" Moraeus' "Schottis Från Lima". Enjoy this seldom heard (unless you are a Swedish bird-watcher) project by ABBA-star Benny Andersson.

you are absolutly right about the storlomen, I my self who is from norrbotten and just whit storlomens facinating sound in the day's that never end's up here in the summer, can drive people not djust to it a littel cryse (sorry fore the poor spelling). And again Thank you.

It's mellow fluteing on a spring evening is truly loveable
Our most common bird is the Lövsångare
It fills our forrests with the lovely "Sound of early Summer"
Rarely seen, yet everyone knows that sound of this beloved little bird

??? I neither implyed that Benny or Swedes were stupid ??? I neither mentioned a national bird or the most common bird ???
I chose the storlom because it is *Bennys* favorite bird, it is #1 in his bird-book, I also chose a bird known WORLD WIDE, the Canada Goose.
Benny is a bird-watcher, an extremely popular hobby, do you feel that I am making fun of that? I respect the man FAR TOO MUCH for that.
I am only giving his fans an opportunity to see and hear a generally unknown project of his...
