Listen to Dr. Ravi Zacarias describe his meeting with United Nations (UN) officials and his new book, The Grand Weaver. As Christians, we believe that great events such as a death or a birth are guided by the hand of God. Yet we drift into feeling that our daily lives are the product of our own efforts. The Grand Weaver brims with penetrating stories and insights that show us otherwise. From a chance encounter in a ticket line to a beloved fatherâ??s final word before dying, from a random phone call to a line in a Scripture reading, every detail of life is woven into its perfect place. In The Grand Weaver, Dr.Ravi Zacharias examines our backgrounds, our disappointments, our triumphs, and our beliefs, and explains how they are all part of the intentional and perfect work of the Grand Weaver.

  • God Bless Ravi! He approaches people with such grace and understanding, while not compromising-that's something that many in the Church today-myself included-need to learn how to do.

  • @killerproctologist88 Actually, no it doesn't. Love thy neighbor means exactly what it says. That is obvious in the context of the story it appears in. But people that take sentences out of context often don't understand the story of the context it is in. This is what many non-Christians do to try and invalidate the Bible, when really all you validate is your own ignorance of what it teaches. Please, don't take passages out of context. Actually TRY to comprehend.

  • @killerproctologist88 oh yea, and love thy neighbor probly means fuck the shit out of them huh? get real kid, ur re-interpretation of the bible is ridiculous. the translation is clear, that is what jesus meant, or it wouldnt have been translated that way. u seriously think u know more about JC than the historians and theologians who updated the bible to this modern language? face it, JC meant for everyone to mutilate themselves and hate everyone but JC himself.

not to mention how stupid it is..

  • @UnluckyGambler Jesus is saying, if the loss of an eye or hand could lead to righteousness and, thus, salvation, it would be worth gouging it out or cutting it off and is better than losing yourself completely. That passage you're referencing in Luke suggests you know nothing of ancient linguistics. Words evolve with time do they not? The Bible uses the word "hate" in a relative sense - that is, to love less. Other passages in the Bible confirm this, but I have a feeling you have not looked far

  • @killerproctologist88

"If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell"

"If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple."

    ~Jesus Boogers Christ

    'nuff said.

  • @UnluckyGambler If you're so knowledgeable, perhaps you could provide me with proof? Alas, you have not. For needless murder and butchery are not the teachings of Christ. I shall pray that Yahweh softens your heart because obviously it has been hardened by the world. God bless.

  • @killerproctologist88 lol kid go read the bible first before talking on here. obviously u have no knowledge of ur own holy book, how typical. nearly all christians never actually read the bible. fucking hypocrites.

  • @UnluckyGambler I don't know what Bible translation you're reading, but in the Bible I read it says to do none of those things. Until you demonstrate even a little knowledge as to what the Bible teaches, (love others before you love yourself), then we can have a conversation. You're suggesting the Bible teaches, "do what thou wilt, love under will" which is the exact opposite.

  • @killerproctologist88 *facepalm*

oh yea, lets kill all who are not christian, stone and burn them to death, butcher their women and children, rape their girls and keep em as slaves, yep, some heaven on earth that is.

and what will u christians do when u run out of food? how do u prevent some christians from becoming corrupt and not follow the bibles teachings? jesus barking christ, think before u text.

  • @UnluckyGambler Do you not realize that heaven on earth can only be attained by impossibly maintaining every moral guideline given to us by almighty Yahweh? (Yahweh=God in Hebrew or, “He Brings Into Existence Whatever Exists",) Do you sir not realize that the closer a society stays to the moral guidelines as presented in the King James Bible the more perfect your "mother earth" would be? Heaven on earth is only attainable when people such as you humble yourselves before Christ.
