Perhaps someone should mention that Kaganovich, a Jew, murdered between 7 - 10 million Ukrainians, by being the architect of the most heinous genocide of the 21st century; "The Holdomor"
I am amazed that the Jewish community has never addressed this horrible fact by apologizing to the Ukrainian community that a Jew was the greatest mass murderer in history, surpassing Hitler.

Yushchenko is supposed to travel to Israel this week to aske the Israeli knesset(parliament) to recognise the holodomor as genocide.

It will be interesting to see Israel's response to Yushchenko's visit and request for an official recognition of the Holodomor as genocide. Israel did a U-turn regarding the Armenian massacre by Turkish troops. First they recognized it but when Turkey threatened to stop cooperating with Israel against Syria and the Hezbollah, they Israelis rejected the recognition. It seems it's always a matter of "what's in it" for Israel rather than a selfless humanitarian deed.
