  • @wyomingsamurai I think it's more simply signifying the cycle of awareness. From ignorance to enlightenment. The child is as ignorant and cruel as the main character was in his youth, but just as the main character learned through trials and tribulations so will this child.

  • Moving movie.

  • Can anyone who speaks korean tell me what the man's "crime of passion" was supposed to have been? There were no subtitles, so I'm assuming it was rape or something like that?

  • @sketchup73 that was a great short movie!

  • @kh4nhl3 there is another great movie set within a similar context of tthe fleetingness of everything, maybe you might find it as enjoyable.check it out watch?v=M7n4LeRB6js

  • @sketchup73 I already know that the whole story is not about Buddhism. -__-

  • @kh4nhl3 the story is not about buddhism.

its set within the context of buddhism, but not about it.

i am not a buddhist but i doubt if i enjoyed it less than any buddhist monk.

  • @sketchup73 I know it's about cycle of life. But all chracters are Buddhist right? and they also have lots of thing about Buddhism in the whole story. He's holding the Buddhism statue at the end, and when the master was writing on the ground for the apprentice to carve, it was Buddhist scriptures.
