@yehudiadelphos1 It's noisy as hell. I fitted a Superwinch OD from a Range Rover, made a big difference to the noise levels. It's good for 65-70mph cruising now, though trying to make it stop at that speed is interesting! Fuel consumption is better now though, getting between 16-18mpg, not bag for an ugly, heavy V8-powered lump!

Yep, typical noise in the cab :D Looks like you needed some rubber matting toput down on the floor. I used to wear ear plugs when I drove mine, but mine was 2.25 diesel witha fairy overdrive, which was half worn with a pitted gear in it, and it used to howl when engaed it, especially when doing 50 mile an hour or more.

@rincon680mad Thanks, they are great vehicles. I miss my old '76 Series 3, was a bit rough in places but was my first Landy, will never forget it!

@crisp2882 Thanks, the rover V8 is indeed a superb engine, it's sounding even better these days after a new distributor and exhaust manifolds.

The houses are so small & they all look the same, whats the go with that :) the landy is great though, good for climbing gutters to get around traffic

@33deebee I have a small house to limit the amount of vehicles and other crap that I can own. Never tried climbing the gutters with it, spends a lot of time on farm tracks with a shotgun out the window, it's good at that.
