I love you MOM & DAD!

I want the world to know my mom. She was awesome. I am everything she taught me to be. I miss her terribly.

I know that there is some personal information here about her, but her obituary in the paper is public and so there is not any other information here that would differ than what the paper said.

My mother died from complications from a lung transplant. My mother received a Left Lung from a gentleman who died in 2002. She lived less than a year when she developed complications from the lung transplant. She lived 6 months without oxygen and was able to enjoy the things she loved to do. She got sick towards the end. She was an amazingly brave woman. My family stood by her strong even though it appeared we fell apart, we were there...together for her one last time.

I became a Transplant RN because of her. My inspiration to become a nurse came from my dad who is a physican. But my passion became lung transplantation leading to a career as a transplant nurse.

PEOPLE wake up! Please donate your organs. I was happy to spend the time I did with my mom. Thank you!

Thanks. My mom was an amazing person. My dad plays the bagpipes and this was appropriate. It made me cry too. I watch it all the time. Thank you for watching it. I hope my mom got to see it too.

What a beautiful cemetery! Great music too!! This vid almost made me cry. It is so sad. I, too, lost my mom in 1993. What a great way to remember your mother!

beautiful video. my dad died in '02 also. it gets better, but sometimes it jumps up and bites you. oaklawn is a beautiful cemetary.

It really is. Odd how sometimes you can go and you feel so peaceful, yet when you pull out into traffic, you feel the stress of the rat race! ;()

I miss my mom she went in for surgery at uva medical hospital in va for a heart valve surgery caught a hospital infection and died in my arms at 315 am in the morning I'm 30 years old I still hurt. She was my hero
