Gorilla FSAE Engine Running!

Our KTM 520 engine running on full Microsquirt fuel and spark control. There is a lot of tuning to be done, but it runs like a champ!

I was involved with this car, but have since graduated. The school is Pittsburg State University in Pittsburg, KS. The can ended up producing only 25 hp at the wheels, but the intake design left a lot to be desired (port injection, no air plenum). The engine, if I remember right, was 75 lbs. Very light and compact, but at best I think the singles are only good for about 30-40 hp.

What school ya'll from? Haven't heard of many teams using single cylinder engines: How much power/torque does it put out? And what's it weigh? Like 80 or so lbs?
