arctic cat m8 turbo saving a yamaha

this was up by tower mountain utah riding with mac heath evan brock all of us from mountain performance. evan went up a gap and hit some dead fall. this is the rescue effort which was successfull. and just so you all know the references to chris burandt was just funnin ...iv had the pleasure of riding with chris many times over the last 10 years and i believe he is the best free/mountain rider in history.

What's a yamaha doing in the trees?

@turboyammy My buddy just hit some dead fall and so he got stuck. The sled is boosted making about 18 lbs and runs extremely well. Just picked an unlucky line through the trees.

@IveGotTheNuts My facts are straight. AC weights are "CRATED" weights and always have been. A touch of two stroke oil in the tank. FULL of coolant. shocks of course have all there oil. Ski doo is the only one that does that to get there dry weight. And depending on the sled it is at least 130 it can be as much as 150. Yamaha does NOT weigh there sleds with a half tank of gas. ( they only hold 7 Gallons and the cat 11) so not valid point anyway. The Yams have there place they are evil on boost

@b1dodge Hey guyy get ur facts straight . As i ride a m8 as well 2010 sno pro. When arctic cats weighs there sled it has no fluids at all. No oil no gas nothing. When yammy weighs there sled it is half full of gas and the oil is in as well. Since the nitro weighs in at 550 lbs and the m8 stock is 455 lbs . A difference of only 95 lbs. Not only that yammy weighs their sleds with oil and a half tank of gas. So you can knock off another 25 lbs. So really the yammy is only 70 lbs heavier DOH

@ryanverrecchia i must be dumb...I keep getting called that... When any of you very wise old sledders get the chance why dont you just come out to Utah show me your mad skills. And what would the Nytro be better at? The Nytro is grossly undepowered (unless boosted) and wieghs 130 pounds more than my m8. I have been riding these sleds for 27 years and currently own a 2010 nytro and various cats.... and at NO TIME is the nytro a better mountain sled. Thanks for commenting THE DUMB GUY
