This story has been showed again and again but honestly, after keep watching this serial..for one moment I forget that it was Mukesh Khanna as Bheeshma and there were other actors, i thought they all were real!!

interesting story :bheesma vowed that he will force krishna to take weapon when he was about to defeat arjun krishna in anger took wheel(actually the lord was in whole control of is senses) in order to save his devotee but arjun stopped him from doing that bcoz he would be called a coward which is like a death to a kshatriya hence it was a beautiful trick that lord kept the vow of his devotee(bheeshma) and also it was not a weapon(it was a wheel) as he vowed

Because Right after the Akkand Pratigya Dialogue his father Ramchandra Khanna got shocked when he was watching it on tv. and during Shaktimaan his father was terribly affected by that shock and did not respond to anything. He also said in that very same interview that "My father told me not to do such roles again"
