Here is a video of my eye floaters. One of the poster below (shadowsburnme) has discovered that the name of this is a red-free filter trans-pupillary video (or digitally processed emulation) with a large depth of field.

I started noticing my floaters after I washed my eyes with dishwash several times they hurted for days....they got red and shit...I told the doctor that I started seeing these floaters after I washed my eyes with dishwash....my eyes wasnt damaged on the surface but I still think somehow I triggered something inside my eyes by using dishwash...my eyes got irritated so maybe something inside happened...but my doctor said straight away NO thats not why you see the floaters lol..

@GameRelatedStuff From what I understand about floaters, I think that it is highly unlikely that your floaters were caused by the dishwash. It could have just been coincidental, or perhaps your eye irritation just drew your attention to your floaters for the first time.

interesting, im not sure if i have floaters, the floaters that i have seen while looking them up seem to be cloudy material. the things that i see in My vision look like little clear circles, with a small dot in the middle of them. they just started to appear a few months ago while i was stationed in afghanistan. i'm wondering if stress has anything to do with that? also, i can only see them when i look at a lighter colored object, or the sky.

@spcinfantry What you are describing sounds like floaters. I don't think that there is a clear link between stress and floaters. Perhaps people just notice them more when they under stress. That said, I can't even begin to comprehend the stress of being stationed in Afghanistan.

I have a similar story - My floaters appeared overnight after putting in old (possibly tainted) contacts the day before. I've explained this to 4 or so doctors and all insist that the contacts did not trigger the floaters. Well - bullshit, they did. I'm 41, I've had severe floaters for 20 years, and - I'm not trying to be melodramatic here - they have ruined my life.
