Can you say, 'Polybrominated diphenyl ethers?" Visco Elastic polyurethane foam mattresses are dangerous. Read the law label. Check out Wikipedia and read about the Health and Environmental Concerns before you put your baby on it. Organic is better because it comes from nature not some chemical plant. Don't you know how memory foam is made? Watch videos on youtube about chemical flame retardants. Environmental working group test products for kids safety.

It does have a smell when new due to the unique manufacturing but the smell does go away after a couple of weeks. I love my Tempur-Pedic bed!

lol yeah they have this new smell to them and i think it lasts for a long time maybe but it doesn't stink
