  • Actually evolution is a provable fact. Nothing you believe can be proved and thus is not real.

Half-man, half ape? What do you want? a fossil with a man's body and an apes head? Evolution doesn't work like that. It was small gradual changes over millions of years. All fossils are transition fossils and we have many of them. Try a museum. Somebody has filled your head with a lot of nonsense. Talk to real scientists, not your church minister and read a book other then the bible.

  • Gracias Carl Sagan!!!

  • @badism then what if some alien came here and made us like this from monkeys and told us they were god (cause way too much evolved then we even are now), and so we did creating a creed on 'em...?? It's a possibility and even you can not denie it. I don't think religion is a/the problem, not itself, but those who think they know it and accuse it as if they were god. Arrogance is close to idiocy, oh no probably ahead.

  • this was awesome

  • Boring.......................

  • The same way that predators are not as likely to eat prey that has better camouflage. For the crabs the camouflage was looking like one of their major predators, for the crab those major predators were us humans. and having that gene, increase their chance of survival quite a bit.

    Pretty simple

  • @badism cont. The same happens to the facts corroborating evolution (like the set of fossils) and to the THEORY of evolution (wich includes the idea of natural selection and others to describe the inherent facts). ALL ideas in science, and so, ALL THEORIES, no matter wich is it, MUST be falsifiable. THERE IS NO DOGMA in science, no one. But, until now, there is no fact too that requires the improving of the theory of evolution.

  • @badism First see that I am pro-evolution and against creation. But we must be coherent. No, evolution is not a fact, it's a theory. I will use what you've said: the verifiable fact that all apples fall from apple trees does not make the theory of gravity from Newton a fact. So, it was improved and became the theory of gravity by Einstein, the general relativity. But the fact remains the same, verifiable. NEW facts were DISCOVERED, that obliged the improving of the ideas and the theory.

  • @anonimoculto And there are many facts that validate evolution and thus evolution itself is a fact. Gravity is also a theory and we have the atomic theory. Creationists never seem to dispute those. They seem to want one species to give birth to another, something in itself that would actually disprove evolution. Why are they being so woefully ignorant? Why is it so important that their old book be true when it clearly isn't. The world will go on just fine without the bible.

  • @usbrian67 The missing links do not prove anything in this case. And they are gradually being found (but think about: for more fossils we find, will never be enough to you, isn't it?). A found fossil wich does not link with anything could do what you would like a lot, shut down the evolution theory, but this fossil was never found, too... The absence of a fact is not a fact itself. But, if you affirm you have a fact, a scientific fact, it MUST be verifiable. At least in science.
