Me neither. I have no idea how I ended up here.

I love this film but the problem is the entire pemise is completely flawed because of the simple paradox that if Jim/Biggles were successful in 1917 (as they were) in defeating the Germans/the machine, then there would be NO reason in the 1980s for Jim to go back in time in the first place. It's the paradox which almost certainly proves time travel backwards is impossible.

@JStarNewYrk ya by looking at that It could be from 1961-1967 I do know a lot of the buildings in back and what building will start to come up at 1968-1973 down there. so yes it is pre-1970 footage. 1985 footage you would see it all built up down there.

@92af i know, he is unrecognisable as a soft spoken retired officer here, as apose to the villian he played as the evil sherrif of nottingham

@JStarNewYrk this is such an amazing movie i am so fascinated by it, i cant get enough of it! i always dream about going in that mysterious tower on the tower bridge, and opening a door and seeing creepy officer raymond there! argh! its such a good movie so underrated! im pretty sure if they did a remake of it now, itd completly botch! a sequel would be good though :)

I have seen this movie in the longest time. One of my childhood favorites.
I just noticed something...where are the WTC Twin Towers at 7:18?
The movie came out in 1986 and the Twin Towers were completed by 1973. I guess they used pre-1970 stock footage of Downtown Manhattan.
Thanks for putting this up. I haven't seen this in 20 years.
