it' s really just because he represents a twisted version of silver-age superman (back in the 60''s and 70's when he was so ever-powerful that he was juggling planets with a pinkey). and because his own krypton was destroyed. and the original DC universe's krytonite doesnt work, the only way to kill him is to beat him to death, wich is kinda hard since he's god-like powerful.

just comics, superboy prime 1st appeared in crisis on infinite earths, the story goes that a creature called the antimoniter was devouring every universe in his path, so everyone banded together to stop him. prime was from universe-prime. it was utterly destroyed, and he was trapped in another dimension and forced to watch the one remaining universe, dc universe, be "corrupted" and it drove him insane, he broke out, and all hell broke loose.

@pewp22 I think Prime is only as strong as New Earth Superman on his own. But the Solar Armor is what gives him that extra push and makes his 10x's stronger. He can only do all that without it because he inexperience with powers makes him super dangerous.

supermans not that strong any more, heres the top strongest beings in DC superboy prime,anti montier,parallax-hal jordan, Spectre, and what they have in common is they all almost took out all DC UNIVERSE, superboys my favorite character know he bad ass, he will kill sentry with one fist and kill hulk with the other

@Vegeta101691 If you look at the earlier comment, they say that he comes from a reality makes all the beings from that reality stronger than the rest. So maybe the absorbation of the sun doesn't make him stronger, just makes him reach his peak more, no wait, but in the comics Superman keeps getting stronger as long as he keeps getting yellow sun radiation, and never shown a limit on it, so yeah. =/

@gammalantern But when the Supermans were fighting Prime, they didn't hold back, they can't, if they did, Prime would destroy more than the Supermans side effect, so basically the Supermans didn't hold back and Prime still beat them.

And the 30 year = 1 minute is just an example, it's not the real measurement. So don't use that, it's just there hoping for you to understand it better.

So like, Superman 1 (Earth 1) absorbing yellow sun for 30 years would equal to Superman-Prime absorbing yellow sun for 1 minute. Like that. That's why Superman-Prime is so powerful get it?
