Testimony of 12-Year-Old with Two Moms Moves Some Vermont Legislators to Support Gay Marriage Bill
Evann Orleck-Jetter testified at the public hearings on gay marriage last month before Vermonts Joint Senate and House Judiciary Committees. Many legislators later told Evann and her parents that her testimony had moved them to support the bill.

I never chose to be straight. Should I have, certainly I would have invited my best friends, family and kneighbours in order to announce my choice.

I think that you see yourself in gay people, but don't have the courage to live your nature. Religion brought all the hatred to mankind. Saying that marriage is a tool to support the capitalist systems is a total nonsense and diminishes the power of what you wrote so briliantly, afterwards. In the islamic natios, which are not capitalist, people can marry with as many women as they can buy. Yes, BUY. Sometimes, a woman can be bought for as low as a goat, a pig, a cattle head, etc. Marriage is a private matter and shouldn't be publicly supported. You said it right.
