This was a collaboration piece from my final project and class at Ontario College of Art and Design. My partner, and good friend Kate Harrison teamed with me.
It was as if the director of Final Destination movies came to kill my airbrush compressor, because everything that could go wrong, DID.
-Overheating issue (took hours to cool off and clean)
-Burst hose (took a day to replace)
-Nozzle fell in the sink drain (took a week to replace, which was too late as the project was due in days)
And because of this (mainly the nozzle), I couldn't spray anymore resulting in me hand painting which takes more time and thus my painting was deemed incomplete. The entire class ripped me to shreds. It's okay though, becaaaauuuuuseee...I learned from this.
And what exactly did I learned??? Hi made the rules here then!
=================================================
The FIRST RULE of airbrushing is: You DO NOT clean your nozzle in the sink!
The SECOND RULE of airbrushing is: You DO NOT CLEAN YOUR NOZZLE IN THE SINK!
The THIRD RULE of airbrushing is: Always own extra nozzles in case you didn't follow rules 1 and 2. LOL
one word: Amazing!
