@mjc0961 The Swiffer Wet jet is TERRIBLE for hardwood. Virtually everyone I know that has tried it (including myself) has experience a left over film on their hardwood. Definitely would not recommend that product for hardwood.

All I do is I take the washable microfiber cleaning pads that are for the the Bona Hardwood Floor Mop and I cut them so they are the same size as the Swifter Wet Jet pads then I put them on my Swifter Wet Jet.
I also save $ by useing Pliers & gently unscrew the cap on the Swifter Wet Jet Cleaning Solution then I refill the botle with Pine-Sol.

I just bought a Bona mop thingy -- but, I can't get any spray to come out and the instructions dont cover this or offer any help. I guess they are just smarter in Sweden, but I'm taking mine back.

That's not true. I have high shine hardwood and I virtually ruined my two week old floor using the Wet Jet. Their solution left a film that I had to get down on my hands and knees to remove. Also the spray is so misdirected that it sprays on my walls also. Not a good buy for hardwood at all.

Bona are Swedish made and they know best when it comes to wooden floors/cabins.

I have a Bona and have to say it's better than the wet jet I love the fact that you can throw the cleaning pad into the washing machine. I will say, it would be ideal to buy three total cleaning pads so you always have one ready.

It was a pretty bad reason though. The Swiffer Wet Jet is the more comparable product that one would consider buying VS the Bona Map. No reason why they can't use the Wet Jet instead and then just knock it a point for the batteries.
