Continuing the sporty heritage of the original Eagle GT and its successors, the new Goodyear Eagle GT is a more attractively priced companion to Goodyear's popular Eagle F1 All-Season in the Ultra High Performance All-Season category. It is designed to blend a stylish tread design with real wet and dry performance, reasonable road manners and some all-season light snow and slush capability. We compared it to other value-oriented tires in the same category to find out if handling and traction make the grade.

  • I don't like the Eagle GT's on my GTI VR6. The ride is noticeably harsher than my Falken ZE-912's I replaced, and the car feels like a completely different animal. It's not as fun to drive anymore. Straight line tracking seems less sure, and road noise has increased. I truly wish I hadn't spent the money I did for these. How are they working out for you? Curious to read other experiences with the Eagle GT.

  • I just replaced my girlfriends 2007 Toyota Camry LE (4cyl) with Goodyear Eagle GT. The old Michelin's were worn out and CRACKING bad. Although the shop pumped up the tires to 33psi (rather than the suggested stock 30psi) - they handle very well. A marked improvement over the OLD Michelin's. It doesn't fight me turns and curved highways nearly as much. They are a bit noisier (possibly because of +3psi) but I really like handling. They're right, its not super tight on center. Bit of float.

  • i hate my avid w4s tires

  • @TheOmnipotentidiot my mustang is a 2006...i drive very spirited and they last about 30k miles

  • @sweetlew33 what year is your mustang? I am looking at putting these on my 2000 mustang convertible and I'm curious as to how long the tread life is on these. I mainly drive highway (80+miles a day).

  • Kumhos are great tires. I highly recommend the ASX's. I've had a good experience with them.

  • I personally would go with the avid w4s or eagle gt. if you dont drive aggressive then you should go for wet traction & comfort.

  • eagle GTs are fantastic, i have them on my mustang and am getting eagle GTs for my audi tt quattro tomorrow!

  • Just got the GT goodyear upgrade from the bridgestone el41 cornering is great, got on an off ramp doing 45-50 nice grip

  • Kumho Ecsta ASX- GREAT TIRE IN ALL CONDITIONS! HIGHLY RECOMMEND
