the teens at Bird Street Community Center's Computer Lab spend the Summer Learning how to Manage a Computer Lab these Interns studied software like Microsoft Office Adobe CS Suite Freeware like Windows Movie Maker, Google's 3d program Sketch-up and Scratch a programing software for youth. They wrote outlines for classes and developed tutorials using Jing and Camastia. the Interns Mykia and Kyron assisted other kids with their computer assignments. They created a Database for the Labs computers inventory, using Access. Digital storytelling was a class they shined in, this video is a statement these kids made, they used cell phones for images, a cheap digital camera, a flip video camera and Window Movie Maker. There was no Money for equipment, so they made do, proving you can work with anything and create art. I am glad to have joined them in this adventure.
