End of the day the guy was pumped up & happy. People quite often engage their mouth before their brain. I think in this instance this is true, but none the less he said it. A lot of Posh fans appreciate a Chairman who shoots from the hip, it's quite refreshing after seeing other chairman in the league.

Time will tell where we end up next season but believe me we'll bloody enjoy the ride. Don't be sore losers, your fans looked impressive at OT.

peterboroughrockcity, i was at the game with my brother and we are both huddersfield fans. my brother decided we were leaving as soon as your 3rd goal went in (he was driving). i was very angry with him because, as u say, fans don't walk out of a game. if it had been up to me i would have stayed well past the final whistle, both to congratulate posh and comiserate with my own players. seeing 3 of them, including our captain,... Fans don't walk out with 15 minutes to go, Fans don't throw their shirts on the field in disgust after what, for your team, was a great season, Fans don't go smashing the faces of stewards. As one guy on the radio said on the way back from OT..31000 HTFC fans had shirts on that said believe..the important 11 on the field didn't have an ounce of belief between them. I understand why you should be miffed by DMac's comment, although it was never meant to be flouted in your faces. You shouldn't be sore about the defeat, more the manner in which your guys capitulated in such a short space of time and of course the muppets who left two stewards with facial injuries, bet they hurt more.
