I partially agree with this statement, however Puffy should be included in that.  Both label heads knew that violence and drama sold and they played on it. Suge, Puffy, 2pac, and Biggie along with several others played into the images being portrayed of them by the media. This wasn't just an industry beef, both labels had ties to the streets which added heat to it all. It always surprises me that so much of the blame is placed on Suge, Puffy wasn't as innocent and humble as he acted......

No the reason Pac was pissed off is because Biggie knew it was going to happen, if you've watched enough of 2pacs interviews you would know why he was pissed off.. 2pac knew who shot him.. Jimmie henchman hired somebody to do it .. but Puffy and biggie knew.. and as pac was the main reasonn biggie became so big as he was the helping hand he thought he owed him more than that.. no he didnt want him to tell him who it is but to tip him off not to go in the studio perhaps..
