When America was a frontier, African people, through force, nurtured the beginnings of capitalism and also nurtured its struggles to truly become a democratic nation. This nurturing of the predators must no longer be our primary objective. This is now about the self-preservation of a people and the good aspects of their culture. This self-preservation entails strong and enduring ties to Africa and projects in Africa that are based upon Understanding, Knowledge and Trust. Whites and other ethnic groups have rarely provided more to Africans in exchange for what Africans have provided to them. This means foreign investors buying and/or leasing African land to grow vast acres of crop or strip the land for mining must no longer be or become the norm. To assure this does not happen requires specific actions on our part. We must have our own who are engaged in learning all of the critical aspects of farming and the science of farming. We must have business people who know how to shop the world markets for the best priced equipment for farming in Africa. We must stress to the urban dwellers the importance of that which grows from the earth which nourishes all.
Thank you.
