The Ironmen performing an exhilarating version of the Benthall Stick Dance to the super-funky morris tune 'Wind The Bobbin' Up' in Shrewsbury Square as part of the Folk Festival, August Bank Holiday, 2006. Can you spot me? - I'm the youngest chap dancing; the one in the red and black ... "Hello Dave!" ... ! ;o)] We dance in the Welsh Border Morris style.

  • just doesn't get any funnier than this does it

  • WELL Done .... let's keep the old ENGLISH culture alive !!! We love it.

  • Similar dance forms are found all over europe, but each is unique in some respects. Its just so sad that in England our traditions are being eroded by the PC brigade.

  • Good stuff!

  • Yes we will all feel safer sleeping in our beds tonight, cos of these hanky wavers. And not down to the fact, that our brave men and women are risking the lifes in wars.

  • Precise lines ,fit young men enjoying the fun of the dance of olde England, lovely music played well .Im old and grey but I used to dance many years ago ,and it was the loveliest part of my life to be able to do so .I am so glad to see such a polished side and I feel so proud of the way it was presented. We can never fear of our future when we have guys like this ,bravo ,enjoy your dancing lads ,and well done, you are a credit to our modern England

  • @12thNameITried

WOTS AT MATE YAH WANNAH GO DOWN TO THA CHIPPY N GET SOME CHIPS ?

  • @chimaira6668 I would make fun of the Scottish back by saying how the men wear skirts and bagpipes sound awful. I would also rub it in your face that the famous 'Scottish' dish Haggis was actually invented in North England but I'm a bit more respectful of other cultures and have nothing against Scottish culture but clearly some people can't do the same.

  • These are good! I prefer the Border to Cotswold
