@Velvet4U just because she is a millionaire, she can't be sincere.. what a stupid thing to say! anyway, you can call this song sad, i understand, but i see in it and julia also someone looking for in a dreamful way, happy and even playful. "Each little dream in me" this person, to me, still believes in people and that she will find love.. it's a cheeky dreamer, not a sad person *-*

omg, her voice is amazing! even as a brazilian, i think it's better than in caetano veloso's voice, but in portuguese the lyrics are more beautiful, how i love "bossa nova"! look for "caetano veloso- samba de verão" ... do americans know it's a brazilian song?

This song is another one of those songs that people love to critique because they think the cover from "their" time-period is better. I would love to see any of you naysayers do better! Personally, I think this is a lovely cover done with confidence, control, emotion and feeling....Qualities I am quite sure the naysayers don't possess!

Very well said. Julia Louis-Dreyfus does an outstanding job on Summer Samba. This is not an easy song to sing -- she's dead-on key and tempo. It'd be nice to see NBC release a CD from the Watching Ellie series.
