  • Thx for the post!

the audio and visual does such a justice to the 'the nature you' says Carson to Chigurh.

Chigurh is not the guy, unlike most of us, who is looking for the light. He's looking for something more than that. I do not understand it, as of yet, what he's looking for. Do you?

  • @mercmarc these two are hitmen, they clearly have a dangerous job so they must set out some rules of survival, which chigurh does, hence his ruthlessness, but carson compromised himself but trying to make a deal with the guy they're after and now he's going to die because of it

  • @Andrumaque cormac mccarthy owns those lines, the coens just borrowed them. you're right about the film it is a masterpiece my favourite coen film by some margin

  • i don't know, he doesnt seem crazy to me. the clips ive seen of him are basically how i'd go about doing things if I was in his position. he seems calm and rational, going about things in a methodical manner. true, he kills alot of people, but most had it coming, or had to die for his goals to be met.

if anyone in this movie is crazy, its that lewelen guy, for thinking he could steal millions of mexican and/or american drug dollars and get away with it. that much money is ALWAYS tracked.

  • @Andrumaque Those lines are in the book, in fact most of the dialogue in the film is in the book

  • i mean the nature of YOU...lol

  • "If the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use was the rule?" best existentialist line ever

  • @Andrumaque i love the coen brothers too. but they didn't completely re-write the script or any thing. they actually took manny of the famous lines straight from the books. but of course they and the actors made them look and sound amazing

  • so cool this movie is love to see Elpaso in the 70s

  • Man, this guitar is awesome!!! When you listen by heart, it just takes you to a beatuful place. Did you play this?
