Final spot of the day for me At YBBN, an Air New Zealand 747-400, as you can probably tell by my excited mutter at the start of the video, i wasnt expecting this beautiful bird to come charging down the runway, was expecting a 767. Seems during the summer months, the increase in holiday passenger traffic to the Gold Coast means ANZ must justify a 747 on the route

Fine by me!

  • @midwestairlinesinc Yeah, I would definitely agree with you. Obviously every 747 or any aircraft takes off with their throttles at full, but this doesn't look like 17 degrees of climb or 190 knots. The one thing is that this particular aircraft appears to have used a steep bank angle. Nice video though!

  • nice vid but doesn't sound like 100 percent thrust...im guessing 90 percent ....

  • Assembled with pride in Everett, Washington.

  • Love the 747 you should spot at Melbourne one time. Nice video and it looks cool how it suddenly appears from behind the building you get a surprise

  • Nice plane you caught there, to bad Air New Zealand got rid of the wave on the fuselage but I reckon it looks more pro with out the wave :)
