    JOHN

  • @ColombianCasanova I never saw him use it, I'll have to check it out

  • @CaptainObvious1970 found 1 in basement, inbox me if intrersd. 084172 on blade, leather sheath. looks old

  • Also say Gerber port oregon 97223 usa on sheath

  • I found a knife in my basement that looks like this. its old tho, has a leather sheath. Blade has a number on it 084172. anyone intrested in send me inbox.

  • Mark II Gerbers are the coolest knives in existence IMO. I am addicted to collecting them - which is dangerous considering the price on the older ones. If you want to see the wonderful history and details about these knives check out "militarycarryknives(dot)com". Everything you will ever want to know about your knife.

  • @T3hBAMFchann3l Gotcha.Yeah,it's a fixed blade, like a little boot knife.Model # is SWHRT1.Nice little knife and it's only about $20 so if you "lose it" you haven't lost alot of money.I'm not a big fan of today's plastic sheath craze but it'll work.It has a quick release so you don't have to fiddle with a strap if you're in a pinch though. It's a China knife but they almost all are these days.Still good quality.

  • @stnwllstv i was just joking lol, is this smith and wesson knife a fixed blade?

  • I have 2 of these. I have a new one and one Vietnam-era.Ironically,I paid $75 for the new one and...wait for it...$50 for the old one.The guy didn't know what he had.He thought he had a beat up old knife you can buy new for $75.He looked at me like I was crazy for offering him $50 for his scratched up old knife with a ragged leather sheath.

  • @mrpinkbullets The 420HC is fine for this type of knife. It takes a good edge easily and will keep it long enough to do it's job which is to stab someone to death."Mediocre"for a wilderness knife that will get beat and banged but fine for a stabbing weapon." fast and precise...fighting blade...pretty much useless for anything else"--It's not designed for anything else.
