im not a hater and i will admit that kat and tommy were cute...but u could tell the same chemistry wasnt there that he had for kim...almost like he liked kat so he gave her a chance, but deep down he knew they were better off friends. they dated for like how many episodes?? he LOVED kim. no one can deny that...great vid tho!

The Tommy that was with Kim was not the same Tommy that was with Kat. By that point he'd changed enough as a char that he wouldn't act the same anyways. And he loved Kat enough to marry her and have a family with her.

@Sonfaro true, but he met Kat in high school, too, if you remember, so it wasn't just all about high school love, especially for a fan like me who lived and breathed every episode when they first aired. I just never warmed up to Kat. I'd rather he hooked up with a Ranger that he was more familiar with than someone who was just pushed into the character.

Tommy and Kim were each others first loves, so it was special. But they were only teenagers in highschool (and young highschoolers at that. They didn't graduate till mid-turbo 5/6 seasons in. Tommy was probably a junior when Kim dumped him.) So it's not like they were soulmates.

I'm not saying Kat is either (I mean, Tommy did seem kinda close to that helper chick during DinoThunder) Just pointing that out.

I love Tommy and Kim but now I see that Tommy and Kat had more moments together than Tommy and Kim. I don't hate on Kat, Kim and Kat had adorable moments with Tommy. That much is true.
