The Lonesome Road

"The Lonesome Road" by Gene Austin. An Old Tin Pan Alley tune from the 1920's. Very apt song because I drove to South Dakota by myself and so it was truly indeed a lonesome road. Plus the fact that there was nothing around and very few interstate exits and I HAD NO CELL PHONE RECEPTION! Nevertheless the Black Hills of South Dakota were amazing. Mount Rushmore would have been amazing if not for the fact that it was built on sacred Sioux Native American land.
