The Time Machine - A-Level Music Technology Composition

My A-Level Music Technology Film Music Composition written to my own brief/story using Logic Pro 7 and Jam Pack orchestral timbres amongst others.

Unfortunately i can't find the exact story which i wrote but here is a summary - if you can be bothered to read it :P

Hero enters a great hall where in front of him there is a large object covered in a silk cloth. The hero pulls back the cloth revealing the time machine. Suddenly there is a shout from behind and 2 guards start to run towards the hero. The hero quickly enters the machine and beings to start it up then it takes off. Scene follows where the machine is traveling through time/space.

Machine lands in a battle field - hero gets caught up in the conflict. Bomb lands near by - thought to be dead.. but not.

Machine lands in a jungle/rain forest. Hero hears tribal drums in the distance - hides quickly in the under growth. Tribe march on past it is revealed they are cannibals (the wear humans body parts for jewelry :P )

Hero enters back into time machine - sets destination for home - but the realises he is not alone in the time machine - but it is too late as the machine has launched. Machine lands in the great hall again - cloud of smoke/steam around machine - door opens and the silhouette of a single finger is seen emerging - but is it the hero or the cannibal?! As the smoke clear it is revealed it is the hero and he emerges triumphantly!

This is Amazing. I did a film composition for my music tech A Level, had to do basically the Great Escape. It was amazing, as you could do it in your own style. I got a B.

nice composition.

music tec is my best class, its only hard when you have no idea what you aredoing, so having good support from tutors is key, like any subject really. just sitick at it and if your struggleing , try looking at things objectively.

is music tech good? its my choice for when i start a levels but almost everyone in our school fails... i get my gcse music result on tuesday and got 100% for a space composition which was the music tech part of it, what do you think? Thanks :)

this is brilliant! the composition we're doing for music tech this time was using poem lyrics given to us to make our own song. pretty horrid lyrics, this seems soo much more fun! congratz on the A :D
