I've realised that near enough every Spectrum game I ever owned was part of a compilation. This is pretty handy as if I can remember the name of one game it gives me a load of others that I probably haven't played in 20 years. Super Pipeline 2 was one of these. Its a frantic 16 level arcade game that was based on a C64 original. No doubt the C64 version was better but this is a decent game in its own right.
The aim is to shepherd enough water from the tank to fill the waiting barrels at the end of the pipe. Staying alive isn't all that easy as there are all sorts of nasties crawling along the pipes. The real trouble is caused by the drills and saws that will chop through weak sections of the pipes if they get to them. You can fix these holes by leading a little plumber to them but the odds are that another hole is being made somewhere else in the meanwhile. This game is seriously difficult and you need to attempt to keep an eye on the whole screen at once.
I played through all the levels but it just carries on in the same manner and then restarts with more barrels so I've just included the first 10 minutes here.
id never seen this one, cheers 9pix9.
It looks pretty hard and a weird concept, i wonder what came first this or pipe mania.

All the weird games is one of the things I like about the Speccy. This is years before Pipe Mania.
I never knew what games to get and a compilation came with 10 for the price of 1 which made it a no brainer.

I didn't remember it until you mentioned it but it's on WOS - Frank Bruno's Big Box. Think I borrowed it from the library.
