Philippine Madrigal Singers sing Missa Caelestis (2002) by Jerry Icban Dadap, Jr.
1. Kyrie (Lord, have mercy)
2. Gloria (Glory to God)
3. Credo (Creed)
4. Sanctus (Holy, Holy, Holy)
5. Benedictus (Blessed is He)
6. Agnus Dei (Lamb of God).
Missa Caelestis was composed over the period 2001-2002. The Agnus Dei was premiered by the New York Consort but the full concert version consisting of the 6 movements of the Missa was premiered by the Philippine Madrigal Singers during their 40th Anniversary Concert, December of 2003 at the Manila Cathedral. Three short movements, not contained in the concert version, are included when the Missa is sung in a church setting: Mysterium Fidei, Amen, and Pater Noster.
