I am a novice in carnatic music. Is this his natural sound(Pitch) or is the audio delayed because its old?

His music is divine. I cry with joy every time I hear his voice. When I was in school I was fortunate to sit in front of him and hear him sing - with all the visual gestures. Once heard him sing Mokshamu galadha on radio never heard another sing like that again.
