we are sending our litter robot back.
it is designed in an very unsanitary way.
as you know, the poop and urine litter clumps are rotated ALL THE WAY around the INSIDE WALLS of the globe, until they fall out the waste doors.
this means, your cat's head, shoulders, tail, etc. are going to TOUCH the waste that is left caked on the inside walls of the globe. that is not only unsanitary for the cat, but also for the people in the home.
there are other issues, but that is a deal killer!

I think you could go a little over a week, maybe a week and a half if you had one cat.

i have one concern with this product, and even thoguh it is disgusting, i choose to disclose it at your discretion. I am currently using a litter maid system for a multiple cat household and i have had a morjor problem with feces getting crammed into the groves of the moving parts and the scooping grate. i have had little sucess in cleaning this matter and have given up on the whole ordeal. have you ever had this problem? or had an animal with diarreah cause a mess?

I am a reviewer, and as such, I have to know a little something about everything I write or film video about before I get started - as was the case with the Litter Robot.
I certainly don't work for them, nor did I invent the product. As a matter of fact, one of their direct competitors will be getting the same review treatment from me soon.
I admire you skepticism, but you didn't call this correctly.

@geardiary, I'm going to buy one... Its only C$359. I spent C$16 on litter a month alone on the best litter i used. Any idea what the Bubble Unit is? Its C$21 more... Thanks!

I believe the difference is that one includes a new bubble window that is supposed to allow light in the globe and accommodate a larger cat. It looks like an interesting feature. :-)
