Wisconsin's very first permanent home was located "under the arch" in Sauk County, WI. At first, the cave "under the arch" was used only as a seasonal camp to hunt down "the wholly mammoth," but later, perhaps 10,000 years ago when the climate warmed up, it became a permanent home for the ancestors of the current native americans of Wisconsin. Note near the end of the film its modern day "dwellers" who visited only for the day and then headed for the modern day "golden arches" a few miles south in Sauk City.
