Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Maps Cover

We were really stuck for ideas as to what the next song could be. We wanted to do some unreleased stuff originally but thought it wouldn't get found on YouTube searches so we settled for quite a main stream song in Yeah Yeah Yeah's 'Maps'. I think the video is brilliant to be honest, I tried to capture the lighting effects that are in the official music video in this as well. let me know what you think.

Oh also, I'm fully aware my t-shirt is awesome.

Whats the name of your unreleased band stuff? A friend showed me a cover of this song just yesterday night and I totally digged it. You have some great support in that soulful voice. Moreover, the instrumental is just as stellar.

lyrics. Last thing, the effects. Were they really necessary? You could've made this video a bit more appealing and professional, as those effects themselves seem a little cliche, especially the way they join in as soon as the bass begins. Overall, as a simple cover, not bad. But if you were trying to relive the original, you could've done way better.

From an once big Yeah Yeah Yeah's fan, I can't help but be a little critical. First off, this has been said a lot before, but it seems you're timing off. Almost giving off the vibe that you didn't practice much while listening to the song itself, having a really clunky sound too it at times, especially that distorted guitar tone during the interlude/solo. All of my why. As for the vocals, they were... Decent. But her foreign accent distracts a little from the song, and she butchered some of the

dude timings just a bit off, you need to get a compressor for that bridge and when you are playing clean. also they dont use a bass at all. its all nick, power drives and overdrives and his oscillators, dont worry bout tone btw, he has 4 pedalboards. no one will ever be able to eminate him. its just the truth. but this is by far the best ive seen like i said add a compressor and a blues drive instead of a typical drive and you should be fine
