Beat the Meat is a music video highlighting the many negative environmental, health, ethical and esthetic consequences of consuming too much meat. The aim of the song is to encourage people to reduce the amount of meat they consume without moralizing. The lyrics are an attempt at simplifying scientific research on the links between meat production and climate change and general environmental degradation as well as the links between meat consumption and obesity and heart disease. Doing the research for this clip has actually convinced us to attempt to reduce our own meat intake...
